Friends

I joined this community a little while ago, so thought I'd post a brief intro to say hi.

I've just started writing fanfic after reading the Twilight series and wanting them to be... different.  I thought Jacob is such a fantastic character (although too young...) and felt disappointed by Breaking Dawn.   I have been obsessing about him of late and feel that he has stories that need to be told.

I'm new to LJ and am feeling a little bit lost, so forgive my bizareness.  I posted the first chapter of my J/B story on my journal - probably not the right way to get readers, but hey, I'm new here.

In case you hadn't already guessed, I'm British.  Thought I'd get that one out of the way.

Hey Guys!
Hope you all are fine!

So, we got the "Eclipse" Trailer and i wanted to do something creative with it ;-).
This is the result.

And please, please don`t mind that Edward is so often in the Video!
You know i`m a full of Heart Jake/Bella Shipper. And will always be!
I wanted to try something new. At the End it is mostly Jake and Bella.

The position of the scene was awkward but it would have been helpful to people who had never seen/read Twilight.

Hi there!

I've been a lurker for a month or so now and I finally thought to come and join the fun! I discovered this wonderful community through Temptation, the Twilight Fanfiction podcast. A little bit more about me...

My name is Laura, I'm twenty four years old from the awesome state of Texas! I am currently a student, working on a degree in Office Management and in my spare time, I love to write! I've been writing since I was five years old and I discovered fanfiction through Harry Potter. Once Twilight came out, it took me until Breaking Dawn (yeah, I know!) to think  'Hmm, I wonder if there is any fanfic for Twilight!' Lo and behold, there's over 130,000 stories!

I do have a Jacob/Bella story I'd like to post, but it's too large to post as one, so I'll just post the chapter updates here, if that is okay! The summary for those who are interested. It is about Jacob and Bella as childhood friends and everything that happens to them. Will their relationship stay or will it turn to dust? Click here to head there!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to make an official post introducing myself before I make comments on various topics. My screen name is MiddleMEliot (MiddleMarchEliot) and I've only been a somewhat fan of Twilight for the past few months.

I started reading the first book when all my other friends were raving about it. So I decided to give it a chance. I initially just thought it was okay. I didn't really understand the supposed "love" between Edward and Bella and I didn't get how so many girls could be in love with someone who is so manipulative and controlling as he is. To me, Bella is just as bad. She's pretty spineless.

I wasn't even going to continue the rest of the series, but my friend kept telling me that it only gets better. So I read New Moon. She was right. It did get better, but not in the way she had hoped for me. I loved the friendship between Bella and Jaccob, and that is one of the only relationships that Stephenie Meyer wrote that was absolutely beautiful and real. The cheesy lines between Edward and Bella was too fake for me but B/J was definitely more realistic.

I knew Edward and Bella were going to end up together, but I only heard what happened to Jacob. In other words, I was really disgusted. I haven't read Breaking Dawn and I don't intend to.  It's not just because of Jacob's fate  but from what I've heard, everyone else seems to act out of character.

I wanted to talk and befriend fellow Jacob fans and have been lurking here for some time and finally decided to post an introduction of sorts. I've just recently joined Livejournal so everything here is pretty new. I hope to make some new online friends (since no one I know in RL even likes Jacob).
